Majestic, mysteious......The mustang

I was gifted this photo from Lee Webb yesterday. He took it 2 days ago in the upper field area. This mustang is a favorite of mine and travels with his wife and child few hundred yards from pavement. My first blessed sighting of him was 3 summers ago. I find this photo breathtaking and a reminder that the wild is still present in our world. Happy Friday!

A deer is the wildest it gets around where I live :-(. And even that is such an exceptional sighting that turned my husband into a starry-eyed schoolboy a week ago when he came accross a group of three in a nearby forest. "Guess what I just saw!" he said excitedly. It was my second guess - if I have not been as fast as I was he would not even have waited for me to have the traditional three attempts ;-).
