Flowers are flowering!

I have missed posting and isn't it interesting that I went to the desert for vacation and in my camper I was able to grow a flower garden!  I apologize, I couldn't crop this photo but was excited to share my progress.  I am still playing around with placement of flowers and will be adding stems.  No pics from the dunes, forgot the camera and I am bummed because the views were spectacular!

Off to California tomorrow for a work retreat and hoping that not a lot of work gets done but instead get this hand quilted and play in the waves!

I hope you are all well and enjoy my bouquet I gift to you today!  Love, Em

And to think the last time we saw this we saw a blank (well beautifully pieced) canvas. Gee you must stay focussed when you are on a project to have made your garden bloom so quickly. Maybe I need some of that...focus compost? Looks fab Em - can't believe you got so much done while camping!!!!! Enjoy your retreat. CIao

I absolutely love your quilt!!! Now that is what I'd like to have the talent to make....I need a vacation to just let my mind get expansive in order to create. Have fun on your work retreat....and I know you will enjoy the hand quilting. Thanks so much for sharing.

Smiles,
Kelly

This is truly stunning. You have the best eye and colour sense on the whole Internet. I am an avid follower.

Do you find it all to be a GODWINK that you and I are both working on Dresden Plates (albeit with very different fabrics) at the same time?
