Wednesdays are wonderful and wacky because you are in the world!! Is it your birthday?

When DH & I are watching TV, every once in awhile he'll yell, there's a quilt, did you see it?? I watch HGTV alot. I also have him trained to search for quilts at auctions. It's so cute when he says I saw a double wedding ring quilt (or whatever the name was). He's a sweet heart.

The kids and I are constantly pointing out the quilts we find in storybooks and movies and such. And I still love Sesame Street. My second job out of college was as the Director of a youth program in NYC, and the daughter of Maria, whose real name is Sonia (or do I have that backwards?) was in my program. I remember running into them once on the subway, and the little girl ran up to me and said, as if I were a celebrity, "Oh, it's Erin!" at the same time that (in my mind) I was running up to Sonia and saying, "Oh, it's Maria!"
