Sharon's progress! What a joy to CELEBRATE my mom and sister's art on this blog!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh......  My sister's update on her star quilt that she just sent to me.  I turned the photo so that it would resemble a church. It is so restive and reminds me how comfortable symmetry can be on the eyes.  A type of meditation as I think of her sewing and wishing I was with her......

The bullent under the photo, "Eek.  I have my first outer point done!  Think I need eleven more. Ha ha ha!"

Go Sharon Go!

I love that you have people that you know and love to share quilting with. I have a guild here, but my relationship with most of those quilters is sporadic and I don't know most of them very well. I feel like I know many of my blog friends better (like YOU) and have stronger attachments to them. That "eel! I have 11 more" feeling - I am very familiar with it!

I've never seen purple coals! what kind of wood is that?!?! Beautiful surroundings! You must have a generator! We use to have an old pump well at church, an outhouse too! Your photo of the well and being remote, reminded me of that. Oh how I miss camping! lucky you! I love the guy smoking the pipe, my husband has tons of them and you don't see people smoking pipes much anymore...
