Celebrating my Harley!.....

My dear Harley.....14+ years ago we were a duo, I told him one day he would have to share me with a man who love me as he did....said "I do!", raised a son and loved him today with an older gentleman vet and his assistant and we laughed at the "old son of gun that won't let go"....dear love of my life was spicy until the end. Just like his mom. Reviewing boxes of photos the past days as I was grieving and awaiting the scheduled hour, what a gift he was and what a life he lived. HE SURFED...surfed the wave of love and life!

Love, Em

I'm so sorry for your loss. Those of us that consider our animals as just another member of the family know what you & yours are going through. A life well lived & loved will never be in vain or forgotten. cnd2821@blackfoot.net

My heart goes out to you, lost 2 beloved dogs this year and my dad all within 4 months-my dad and one of the dogs in the same week. Hugs to you and your family, what a great life I'm sure Harley had with you and how much joy you both brought each other. He'll be keeping watch for you in heaven!

Hugs to you beautiful mama! We still cry about the dog we lost 4 years back (I actually found out from my mom at in-service they were putting him down...so sad). But like you said, they are up there having a blast. I think about our dog all the time and how he will be running towards me as I pass with a green tennis ball in his mouth. Oh how we adored that boy!

Em your photos of Harley reflect all the love that he gave you and that you gave him. I am moved to hear you celebrating his life. And how did you ever get him to sit on that surfboard? Is that photo shopped?! :) Just kidding :)

I'm so sorry your friend has gone on. It's so hard to let go of these members of our families. {{{{}}}}} I'm really glad you got to share such a fun life with him. Surf the wave, indeed. :D Here's to Harley!!! May he live it up in the next life, too!

I'm getting caught up in my blog reading and just read this post. I'm so very sorry, dear Em. It is so sad and heartbreacking to lose a wonderful companion. We lost our Tootsie dog in July and we still grieve for one of the best dogs either of us ever loved.
Big HUGE hugs and much love, Deborah

Sometimes I get caught up in life overhere and forget my internet-friends....
I'm so sorry to hear Harley past away. You must miss him so much; a companion threwout the years.....
I know I still miss my Max and Rowdy, one died last april and the other in july.
And although I have a new pup (and I love Amar so much!), I still miss my two little-ones....
My heart goes out to you!
