Whether it is the traditional small quilt I made in Gwen's class, or the liberated logs quilt, I'm happy to be able to sew and make things "my way". After quilting for 30 years, mostly traditionally, I love going wonky and liberated now. It makes me happy.

Wow, just visited the Green Fairy. Your Tree of Life is a knockout!! Most times when I am starting a project it is usually a gift for someone and I keep their interests, taste and colour choice in mind... so that is about how far out there I get but I love it! I also love the surprise moment!!Michele Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09807384185241255549noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4112837131584125572.post-42188900969267521692012-06-03T12:11:46.916-07:002012-06-03T12:11:46.916-07:00Since I started quilting, I have been all over the...Since I started quilting, I have been all over the place with style. I seem to be drawn mostly to geometrics and color, so I think I am going there for a while. I started out the year with a list of the quilts I wanted to make, but have mostly given up on the end product to concentrate on the process. Not everyone is as excited about my process as I am, but I am learning to accept that. After a long life of trying to do things that please others, it is a bit difficult to let that go, but I am working on it. The prize for me will be the freedom to explore and see where this journey with fabric takes me.Miki Willahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01903615512823465964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4112837131584125572.post-74601137713540632992012-06-03T10:55:12.570-07:002012-06-03T10:55:12.570-07:00Oh Em, I love how you style of quilting has evolve...Oh Em, I love how you style of quilting has evolved. As you know I am such a fan. My style changes with my environment. When I was living in the Upper Peninsula taking care of my Dad I tended to lean toward deep country colors, mooses, pine trees and lots of applique. Now that I'm back home I'm all over the place. But loving every minute. I'm having a ball. HugsCathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17070492658205505567noreply@blogger.com
