Roxy brings new sparkle to HAPPY!

It is a HAPPY day for me when I feel like Roxy and I are finally getting the hang of playing together....I could free motion quilt with her all day and am so in love with little pieces that become great practicing pieces for trying new designs with Roxy.  Isn't it amazing the difference quilting makes to a piece?  How fun to say good  night with a post of girls playing jump rope and ways to define HAPPY.... Amidst the mesas of central Utah...Internet does not exist...I have missed you!

Yee-haw!  I am back in the Blog saddle after a fabulous of week of consulting with a sister company in central Utah....I MISSED YOU ALL!!!!!!!!  I was so warmly welcomed and had the luxury of staying in a beautiful log cabin and worked on a second Mary Quilt in the evenings.  In place of my mustangs in my field area...huge grand elk, herds and herds were my wildlife on my med visits.  I continued to express my awe of what a cool job I have and what fabulous people are dedicated to a common goal of fostering healing and sense of living life to the fullest.  I missed my boys, my zoo and YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have many projects in the wings and am tickled to be back at home.

Something very special about quilting these hearts....

Roxy and I are quilting up a storm and having just a teeny bit of fun...wink wink!!!  I give credit to my hero Green Fairy for her inspiration of the following quilt designs.  I will never be Judi...but I can dream and keep practicing!  Speaking of practicing...my sis called and asked if I'd like to practice on the quilt she pieced for her husband's office...Can you guess his profession?

Imbetween trips to the rec center for shooting hoops and rock climbing and walks with Porsche, hearts are being embellished.

My old standby quilt design and I love it every time....I see this heart in the photo and think of the tears of gratitude when Patrick operates miracles on teeny babies and their hearts....

Yes, a wonky heart quilt for a pediatirc heart surgeon's office....

Isn't this fabric marvellous and the crossword fabric defining the heart shape reminds me of Grandpa...Still missing him...

Off to eat yummy dry rubbed ribs the back to quilting.

Having fun thinking about Beth's giveaway that she hosted recently for her anniversary of her blog as I creat this new wonky neighborhood...i LOVE LOVE making wonky houses and stars  and devoting this quilt to the SWEET DIVINITY of sisterhood in all senses of the word...

Sweet Divinity selvage to decorate this heavenly home of angels...Maxi D, can you believe I am still using the GODWINKS fabric...every little morsel is used!  Can you imagine my peal of delight when I found the little GOLDEN BOOKS fabric in blue for sky?

Thank you God, for this WINK tonight...I have been in a state of discord today and so I sat and began this project from Gwen Marston's beauty, Liberated String Quilts...to center myself in an off-kilter wonky way...

Little pink and chocolate to eradicate the blues... and leave it to God to wave a magic wand and bring joy to my heart once more...

Ever bought a bubble magic wand with Tinker Bell on it to match your fabric that talks of Pixie Dust and celebrates Peter Pan flying?  Or then take the wand to the fabric store to look for matching florals?

Ice Cream social is where it all started and now I call a SEWING ROOM SOCIAL!

It's a Luau!

In ancient Hawaii, men and woman ate their meals apart. Commoners and women of all ranks were also forbidden by the ancient Hawaiian religion to eat certain delicacies. This all changed in 1819, when King Kamehameha II abolished the traditional religious practices. A feast where the King ate with women was the symbolic act which ended the Hawaiian religious tabus, and the luau was born.

Porsche is such a good sport, I didn't warn her when she tried us out for a night the costumes and mayhem that I would ask her to participate in if she adopted us...wink wink!

Kevin is loving the pastels with his eyes and requested this bowl for his dinner to bring out the blues in his floral accents...After all, daddy Sean's toenails are this color so it must be all good and masculine...GOTTA LOVE MY BOYS!

14 years together and this regal Har-Dog is still willing to placate his mama's antics.  I love you, sweet dog!

Today's Luau is in honor of my brother-in-law's brithday and a little girl has just rung the doorbell with a gift....Is this you Coco?
