And how did u ring in this very special month?

I am reading my Joann coupon mailer and wondering whether to buy a book or thread for Roxy....at the top of the magazine is a very important announcement......

Sewing is Sharing...September is National Sewing Month....

And during this National Sewing Month, I am going to spend time in a city that I have never explored and visit with a special blog friend in REAL LIFE! I am so excited! Last night we confirmed flight plans and accomodations and then I knew it was real.....I had so much fun creating the below collage of pictures from my past year of blogging to hint where I am going.....I am curious if any of you will guess the city and then the mystery blog frined. This trip is very important to our family and a sort of pilgrimmage...I wonder if the Godwinks will be as prevalent in the city as they have been in St. George. This morning I arrived to the office and in my work box was a letter that stopped me in my tracks and I was struck with awe....Can this really be happening I called and asked Sean. Hmmmmmmmmm, like Christmas Eve and I am the small child awaiting Santa's arrival! Interesting, this journey of life! Love to you all and have fun with the clues!

How did u welcome September?

Off to play with my mom, sibs, nephews and the animals for the weekend and will look forward to posting next week. Happy Almost-weekend! Em

Yay!! Have a blast, Em :D All I can think to guess is San Francisco. I had to do writing yesterday, so I didn't get to ring the month in with gusto, but I did work on several pieces to get ready for my fun quilting class with Jacquie deJonge at the end of the month! I can't wait. :)

lucky you! lucky her! Hmmm...I don't know but I see a girlfriend with a small child at home, and I'll guess Seattle would be the rainiest locale on the Pacific Coast and you're going to visit someplace with special gardens!
Love your "Luv Tiger" applique!

No idea....Can't wait to hear where you are headed. Seattle is a good guess because of the rain boots. Hmmm.....

Wishing it was Kalamazoo!

I think you're probably going to the UK, maybe London. It's across the ocean and lots of rain there. My brother lived there for about 18 months. Have fun Em!

Oh and I forgot, it's "across the pond" too!
