A heart shaped stone was the catalyst....

A stone in the river.....the ripples just kept rippling.....
KwiltzbyStephanie....Do you know why I immediately thought of you when taking this photo?

God's Batiks....

Maybe a quilt pattern in near future?....HMMMMMM....

$2.00 entry fee to the park was a bargain for all the yardage I could enjoy!

Curiousity about the stash.....And some giddiness of the fabrics that will soon be rippling to new homes as prizes for the recent giveaway...

May your Wednesday be wonderFULL!!!!

Who will be your heart stone today or is it you for someone else....

DO SOMETHING INTENTIONAL TO SEE how big the ripple travels!

...may take days or months to see a difference but with every small ripple there is a reservoir or ocean at the end....

Llllllloooooooooooveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Emmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I keep a small brown river rock on my desk - it is tied with a bit of red/black ribbon. It is one of Mertie's Rocks. She was a philanthropist and mentor for thousands of young womwen in our area ~ her actions generated ripples that will continue to benefit our community for generations. There's much more to the story of the rock, but suffice to say my back-then-boss loved my idea of using them as table favors during a luncheon in her honor.

My son...now 14 found a tiny heart shaped rock when he was about 3...I still carry it in my wallet to remember the moment he gave it to me. It is all about being Jesus and serving others in very small to very large large ways. Glad I found your blog today. Lisa in Texas

He does paint beautiful pictures for us, doesn't He? Awesome colors in the water...thanks for the inspiration today.
Love the lily pad fabric! Really cute. As I'm typing, my eyes are drawn to the blocks on my right. The ones with the caption Celebrating summer and children - I love those! You are having fun with the fabrics and creating lovely blocks!

God it's about Him. Beautiful what he has created. Ethan found a stone that looked like a camera that I have stashed away. It was retangle and had a hole up the top side like a camera. We would look through that hole at things we found on our treasure walks. Thanks for reminding me of the wonderful memories.
