Oh how I love going to the quilt shop with my mom. We made the woman cutting the fabric a little nervous with our silly chatter but the owner was having fun with us! Why oh why are some quilters so serious and stuffy when shopping?....OK, I feel better. I have needed to ask that question for the 4 years that I have been quilting? Thank you friends for not being THOSE quilters! He he!!!!
I have bought some very fun fabrics and about to start to cut....but before I do. My mom and siter's works in progress! Hope you enjoy the peeks!!!!!! And behind the doors? shhhhhhh! A secret.

Looks like Mom is gong at the applique like crazy! And Sharon with the Mariner's compass....somehow I think that relates to the doors, also. Perhaps a new door opening soon in a new direction? Do tell, you wild vixen!
Gorgeous pieces! It must be fun to sew with your mom and sister... My mom is not alive and wouldn't sew with me if she was. One sister has the same stuffy attitude; the other would sew with me but lives on the other side of the world. I'm lucky that my DDs will latch on to my sewing craze from time to time. Relish your sewing connection with your mom and sister. You are lucky! The doors are intriguing and beautiful!
