Good morning, my quick mini quilt interp of Kaffe Fassett's THE GIFT quilt in his Country Garden book. Charlotte, this GIFT from the giveaway along with the book is yours for joining us at Sean's Birthday party Monday eve.
Have you ever used a charm pack? That is my secret to laying this out in a mere 20 minutes before heading to work...I needed my fix :).
This quilt is fun for me to share with Charlotte because of her support and enthusiasm of my projects and blog and the charm pack was gifted to me from my sis for my birthday this year...So many gifts within this gift.
May your Wednesday be wonderFULL!!! And if I get stuck....well I may just need to drop by the magazine store on the way to work and buy the newest QUILTERS NEWSLETTER...have you seen the adorable flower quilt? Its at the top of my list to make in near future....
What LITTLE wonderFULLness do you notice today?
Love, Em

Here's my little wonderFULLness today... On Wednesday evenings, my husband teaches. So, my daughter goes to latchkey after school (which she only does two days a week and just LOVES it), and then I pick her up. We have our girl's night in on Wednesday nights. This morning, she woke up at 6:15 to get ready for school, went potty, and then came into my room and whispered in my ear all excited-like, "Mom, latchkey and girl's night tonight! Goody!" I said, "What do you want to do for girl's night?" She said, "Color, watch TV, and just be with you." Made my day right out of the gate this morning.
Have a great day!
My wonderFULLness today is that I woke up being thankful that I'm in Michigan and inside a warm home with no scheduled tasks for the day, which means that I can play in my sewing room! Whoop! Whoop!
I love your new little tree on your sidebar. Bless our Nest! So Cute.
I saw that in my magazine...sooo cute! Have fun with it.
WonderFULLness today....I am almost finished with my first ever following-a-real-pattern crocheted project! It's a kitty doorstop & all I need to finish is sewing on his eyes & nose. :^D
Of course, I didn't EXACTLY follow that pattern, as they made it black with a bit of white, and MINE is turquoise with a bit of yellow! LOL
I'm off to embroider the rest, so he can SEE & SMELL!!!
I love your blog it just makes me smile. For Wednesday I Wore my tennis shoes at Work. Both of them and only wore the boot to go back and forth to the car.
Have a great adventure in the truck. I'm not so sure it's the truck or the driver wanting to get stuck with magazines to read. hahaha
