Have you ever bought a quilt embellishment from a pet store?

All done and what a fun project for immediate gratification and ROXY was so into this project.  Enjoy closeups below of some of the qulting...

I love to study magazines and books for free form ideas for quilting....leaves are different designs and they are my favorite to stitch.  The stitching on the leaf for the base of the caterpillar is a new "J" type of stitch that was a first for me and fun...

Fern fronds and golden fall leaves...

So much stitching...Roxy wouldn't stop :).... The swirl is always a fav of mine.

Have you ever bought an embellishment from the pet store for your art piece...I had so fun etching the name tag and choosing the collar....Even came with a little bell!  Abe seemed like a fun name for this Southern feline who is lost amongst Kudzu and a sort-a-spirit of Abraham Lincoln...remember the post CELEBRATING Walt Whitman last week?

Leaves on my tree on the right turned out fun and get me excited to try out new feathers and shells.  Is it a stretch to have the hearts in the clouds remind us of how kudzu and transfusions relate?

And now I look forward to making a larger quilt with more inspirations from the children's book, What artist is next, Monet or Van Gogh or.....

Probably isn't so much Monet or Van Gogh, but instead it's "See Em Go"
