Quilting Arts Magazine and Viewfinders have something in common.....Curious?

I awoke Saturday morning and thought, "I am going to make a birthday card mimicking a Viewfinder...and eyes are the ultimate nature view finder."

And then later that morning.....GODWINK!....LeeAnn from http://niftyquilts.blogspot.com/ sent me a fabulous little package of love and the fabric.....HAD EYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the other fabrics showcased were included, so fun!!!!!!!!!!  I love you, Blogland, friends!!!!!

Would you like to be make card with me?
See above pic for steps 1 and 2...
1. What are you celebrating and who are you mailing this card to?
2.  Get crazy with mixed media for collage

3. Make the wheel to go in the middle kinda like the PB of a gooey sandwich...all this fun squishing out of a teeny window.....I put the fun fab on the background simply for aesthetics for the photo shoot and won't use for the card.

4. Cut out the window and look at it PEEKING OUT TO THE RECIPIENT... With my card, the window  around "make life creative" needs to be a little bigger before final draft done.

Happiness Birthday train with cake and chocolate milk for the back.....

You come back again and visit soon!

You: I THINK I CAN I THINK I CAN I THINK I CAN!

Me: I KNOW YOU CAN I KNOW YOU CAN I KNOW YOU CAN!

Hope to see a pic of your viewfinder greeting card who has too much fun with this project!  I give credit to the above idea when I was looking in the greeting card aisle last week for celebration card idea....FABULOUS SPOT FOR INSPIRATION!

Love, Em
