Your daily dose of Vitamin D

Sun-C.....I am in love!

I am having fun but also done with this quilt....when it comes to my attention span...And so I have a bag of new fabric sitting next to me and am about to dig in...A tiny quilt for the Alzheimer's Research fundraiser is the next focus...Hmmmmmmmmmmm, wondering what would be an idea hat someone would fall in love with and want to buy.......

Oh, there's sunshine in my soul today,

More beautiful and bright

Than you'll find in any earthly sky,

For Jesus is my light!

Oh, there's sunshine,

Blessed sunshine,

While the peaceful, happy moments roll;

When Jesus shows His smiling face,

There is sunshine in my soul.

Oh, there's music in my soul today,

A carol to my King,

And Jesus, listening, can hear,

The songs my spirit sings!

Oh, there's music,

Blessed music,

While the peaceful, happy moments roll;

When Jesus listens to my song,

There is music in my soul.

Oh, there's springtime in my soul today,

For when my Lord is near,

The dove of peace sings in my heart,

The flow'rs of grace appear!

Oh, there's springtime,

Blessed springtime,

While the peaceful, happy moments roll;

When the dove of peace sings in my heart,

There is springtime in my soul.

Oh, there's gladness in my soul today

And hope, and praise, and love,

For blessings which He gives to me,

For joys laid up above.

Oh, there's gladness,

Blessed gladness,

While the peaceful, happy moments roll;

When Jesus gives his blessings to me,

There is gladness in my soul.

Oh, there's sunshine in my soul today,

More beautiful and bright

Than you'll find in any earthly sky,

For Jesus is my light!

Oh, there's sunshine,

Blessed sunshine,

While the peaceful, happy moments roll;

When Jesus shows His smiling face,

There is sunshine in my soul.

I love the dragonflies! Do you know my most favorite word in the world is "la libélula" - spanish for dragonfly. It just feels so cool on the tongue and sounds all sing-songy. . .
::running off saying it over and over like a favorite tonguetwister::

Oh my gosh, I haven't heard that hymn in years! And it's such a beautiful one! Thanks so much for sharing it! And thanks, too, for responding to my sister's email! So glad I found you!

The quilting is FANtastic! I can relate to attention spam deficiencies when it comes to fabric.

Thanks, Em! One of my fav old hymns, and I had not thought of it in a while....reading the words I could hear the melody - were you singing for me? Love your dragonflies! I think someone will be captivated by it and buy it!
