I love her earrings! Fancy!
Hi Em
I love hand stitching the quilt binding!
So therapeutic!
I enjoy all of the process, but I particularly enjoy sewing the binding on by hand because then it's portable and I'm usually with more people during this stage of the process. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love the planning stage. Hours and hours of debating what pattern to try, how colours look together, shopping for more fabric (!)until finally getting to the repetitive and anxiety producing cutting part!
I love the whole process. First I see a quilt I want to make. Then I pull the fabrics to make it. Usually different from their colors. And I always try to something different to make it my own. I get real excited when the end is near. I dream of how I will quilt it. The whole process is so much fun. Hugs
I love every part... each has it's own challenges and happy accomplishments, throughout I have this big inner smile!
Thanks for sharing this book.....I'm gonna just buy it because it looks so darn cute.
But I'd love to know how you made that cow block and what techniques you use.
How about a little Em tutorial?
Happy sewing
How do you whip your beauties together so quickly!?!
My favorite part is building the blocks. I like scrappy (duh!) so I look forward to seeing how each block is different when rendered in different fabrics.
Don't enter me in the give away as I already have the book. I love love love it! How big is your cow wallhanging? Your cat laying on it makes it look quite large. I love it and want to make one too!
Hmmm . . . my favorite part of the quilting process? I think that's the quilting right now, since this is a new area for me that is opening up, and this is where a flimsy is given life and becomes so much more than it was before! It's so COOL to see the transformation!
has no one said UDDERly adorable yet?! i love the inspiration phase--I love seeing others' projects!
p.s. i'm not in teh draw!
My favorite part of quilting. Hmmmm. Today I will say that it's the designing part! I say that because I just got a phone call that a block design challenge that I entered is one of the winners! (Don't know yet 1st or 2nd) So I am CELEBRATING DESIGN this TOOOOsday! :^)
Miss Cow is adorable!! I think my favorite part of the quilting process is watching the piece come together so I guess that would make it the sewing part. Your work continually amazes me :D
that cow is outrageous! I love her. My favorite part is when I am putting something together and it is working just right, and the sky opens up and there is a chorus singing ALLELUIA, I love it when that happens.
Em, I posted you giveaway on my blog. :)
My favorite part is picking fabrics. I will spend an insane amount of time looking for just the right shade. Sometimes it seems silly, but it's so rewarding when you got it right!
Hi Em, love that cow !
And I'm not quite sure, but I think my favourite part is handpiecing the binding down :-)
I love that.

This "tail" of a bovine wallhanging really "mooved" me! Heehee! Love your lil heifer, and the kitty, too! My favorite part is picking the fabrics for the design in my head or on the pattern...pat the fabric, fold the fabric, etc!

My favorite part is the hand sewing on the binding. I love to see the final stitches in place and the piece come to life.
I LOVE the cow and can't wait to see it with the cowbell.
My favorite part is when I have enough blocks made that I can then lay the block out to see how the quilt will look. It's always fun to see my colors of the quilt compaired to the pattern.
I love starting a new project. After thinking and planning and choosing fabric I have sort of heart throb when doing the first cuts and the first stitches. A wonderful sort of exitement. Of all good parts of the progress (and most parts are good parts - but to unravel definitly is none) that´s my favorite!

I love sewing the components together. Piecing the quilt top is my favorite part, but I love most parts of the process. Thanks!
