Hard to let this one go......

Sometimes a quilt takes on a distinct personality as Roxy and I create it......this baby quilt was a true labor of love. I am so grateful to have been inspire by Green Fairy and to have the fmq in this quilt turn out as I envisioned. Washed and readh for the Post Office. Pattern is from Fresh Lemon.

I have fallen in love with following a pattern....not sure how this happened but it feels safe and happy for my brain that often feels fuzzy with my night work :).......I have also fallen in love with low volume fabrics. The lack of pizazz and contrast for this quilt is purposeful. The mama who will receive this is the quintessential introvert and the soft hues mirror her beauty. This quilt is for my first "grand daughter" and is soaked with tears from a spectrum of emotions as her arrival gets closer....
