I was reading in a recent quilt magazine about the animal totem- What kind of animal do you represent when quilting?....Noah was being silly for Mother's Day and seemed like a perfect example of this article...
A hummingbird when I'm singing in my head. A mockingbird when I'm singing to the music. A mama bird when I looking at all the colors and patterns. A cat when I'm rubbing my fingers against the fabric and purring.
THis is so cute! I'm a "tortoise" when I'm planning and gearing up for a project. A "squierrel" when I'm shopping for fabrics and hiding it away...A "busy bee" when I'm into the groove, and a "hummingbird who has just crossed the ocean" at the end of a project. :)
I have put you on my bloglist on my page so that I can keep up w/you better. I wanted to tell ya, Bonnie Hunter has this cool wonky star and I thought of you... http://quiltville.com/maverickstars.shtml
Would be fun to do in your bright/cheerful fabrics!
Hey, who's playing the guitar? Is that CAT Stevens?
My animal totem while quilting? Right now maybe a LEMMING because i haven't gone on my own trail as much as I should and want to be! Perhaps I shouldn't be so hard on myself? Then maybe a LEMUR because my eyes are wide open, always looking to see what new and original quilting methods I'd like to try (and hence my love of your blog).

I'm definitely a bird, scrounging around for colorful bits and pieces left by others to incorporate into my warm and cozy nest!
I love this pic! So funny!
Hmmm animal when I am sewing...maybe a cat? Purring when working with all that gorgeous fabric.
