I am sitting on my porch giggling as birds play in the waterfall of our pond and think, "What a gift today is!" And then I thought.....I have no idea what will happen today but BRING IT ON!
This quilt is probably my third one and given to my assistant years ago. Paying tribute to the JELLY ROLL. Now I look at it and think, "with a cut here and a whack there"....wonky could be a wonderful version of this next time I create it!
May you find a gift in today's moments...Love, Em

Wow how you have grown in your quilting style.
Those are your colours for sure, but not whonky enough for sure! lol It's GREAT! However, I know what you are saying because I was just looking at little doll quilt I hand quilted a few years ago when first starting out and thought it was just great! HA~! It's awful! lol Looks like basting stitches! So nice to have a timeline of our progress... to see how far we've come and to wonder where we will be. The sky is the limit in terms of our quilting and each new day! I love the way God gives us a new day! ENJOY! XO
You know, my first quilt was a scrappy 4 patch, set on point, with blue sashing, tied, and then sent off to some organization for Katrina relief. I hope someone loves(d) it. But when I look at what I'm making these days, I guess I have to say I haven't gone very far. I'm still making scrappy quilts and I still love a simple four patch set on point (just made on last week!). I guess I need to stretch my wings a little.
It is a beautiful quilt. I would love to see it in wonky.
I have this same quilt kit! I STILL haven't made it. Ahem. It's in a BIG stack of projects. What am I doing on the computer???
