CELEBRATING THE SUNBEAMS playing in my home!
Little Tink/ God's love, a resident bunny and the
next giveaway quilt ready for quilting...
Bri is a friend I am celebrating with this Psalm and post. I woke up throughout last night thinking of her and wondered what the GODWINK was with my heart so consumed by her? Bri, sending you love!
Some"bunny" is having twins....Amanda is the healthy mom carrying my twin nephews and just got this updated photo this morning! WAHOO, CELEBRATING her health and so grateful that she is willing to survive the discomfort so I can be an auntie in May. If you recall the 2 quilts that I posted for twins, this is them swimming around! I giggle as I think about the quilt giveaway posted at bottom of this page and how I have quoted, "Mom has flown the coop" and "not another peep". Could be a prediction, Kevin and Amanda.....
AND THE BONUS!!!! they are moving to live in Southern Utah so I can spoil them rotten and be Kevin and Amanda's nanny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GIVEAWAY QUILT....rules.....
As Easter approaches I am reminiscent of what it must have been like for Mary to awaken and go to the tomb and find Christ gone. I can imagine the sunshine warming her as she found him....CELEBRATE what comes to mind with the above photos, Easter, and/or Psalm 104 for an entry in the Easter Egg Silly String quilt giveaway. I would delight in any scriptures that are left with the comment reminiscent of Easter and/or sushine. I began the quilt with a reverence in mind but then the silly side of me came out knowing that God and Jesus have a sense of humor. I did not begin the quilt as it finished, but hope that the fun of the quilt will give hope and a smile throughout the coming year, especially when trials come your way and you want to MOLT! Piecing began Sunday morning and the giveaway will close Saturday at midnight.
WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED EASTER DAY!

Oh Em, it's 38 degrees and overcast here. What a pleasure to wake up to your sun and warmth! Will your new house have a guest bedroom????? JK!
Good morning Em. My only child went on the Jr. Prom last night. I'm still trying to figure out how she grew up so fast!
Have a beautiful day!
.....but most likely staying in this home due to not being willing to settle on price tag.....So you will be in the quilt haven....When is your ETA? Love you! Em
It's the little things that help us appreciate life and all we have. Tomorrow I will stop to look at how the sun wakes up my home (I'm one of the lucky ones that has beveled edges on two huge picture windows and on the transoms all around) and adds a sparkle of rainbow to the rooms before I rush out to work. Thanks for the reminder to 'stop and smell the roses' or in this case, stop and appreciate the beauty! Have a great day!
At my place the sun just peaks in to our bedroom window on the side of the blind and I know it's time to get up and enjoy the day.
Have a great day
Christine
your pictures remind me that everyday, we can start fresh. everyday we have the opportunity to help, love, create and enjoy the people and things we love. but with that gift, comes the responsibility to DO those things. As Easter approaches, I am trying to show the boys why Jesus died for us, and why we need to honor Him, and God everyday, in every way. And in turn, I get to see the world through the eyes of a 4 year old, and a 2 year old, and let me tell you... we live in a pretty amazing world!
Each day that we wake up is a gift from God. What we do with it is our gift to God...
A very amazing world it is, Erin and I love the thought, Nancy!!!!!!!!!!!! I can just imagine God doing a toe touch each morning as he raises the sun and we all greet with eager or not-so eager hearts!
Christine, I love it when the peek is warm, don't you....or you can wrestle in it.
Pam, I hope that you can get a pic tomorrow so I can "borrow" it to add to this blog with a link of course to yours :).
So love your pictures!! I hope everyone of us experiences our loving God every day!!!
He is just awesome!!
Enjoy you monday!
I'm so happy to see Spring coming after a long winter of 60 plus inches of snow. Easter is going to be a beautiful day.
Sorry, Em, no sunshine pics today. Had to rush off to take the granddaughter to the doctor. After being so sick all weekend, we found out it was a bad case of food poisoning. I'll try again tomorrow!
Love the pictures you already have posted.
Em, very generous give away! And funny too :)
I found this for you:
"And he departed from our sight that we might return to our heart, and there find Him. For He departed, and behold, He is here."
-- St. Augustine

Oh, I love Sheila's thought. she should win for warming my heart. Thanks, Em and all of you.
Sam, I'll add an extra entry for Sheila on your behalf! I love the the scripture also!!!! Thank you for visiting!!!!
Isa 40:8 "The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."
Luke 24:46-47 HCSB "He also said to them, "This is what is written: the Messiah would suffer and rise from the dead the third day, and repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem."
Thank you for the opportunity to enter your giveaway, and to visit your happy blog. My Mom is a chicken person and will love your quilt.
Easter, and your nature photos, make me think of miracles, the big ones, and the everyday ones. They are all around us if we just open our eyes to them.
Thank you for your happy pictures as there is no other way to describe them!
The light streaming in reminds me of this "I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 --and after the darkness of the crucifixion on Good Friday, the glorious light coming back into the world for Easter brings great joy and celebration. Happy Easter to you.
(I love the quilt too!)
This scripture is meaningful to me and of course reminds me of Easter! Matthew 28 9Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in[a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
What beautiful pictures and what a gorgeous quilt. The pictures remind me of the John Denver song Sunshine on my shoulders. We are having lots of sun here today.
Oh Em!!! You are so sweet. I didn't read this until now. Not sure how I missed it because I follow your blog religiously. That was right before I flew out to Utah so I'm sure as I was catching up on your blog when I got back a week later that one just slipped through the cracks. Although, it definitely was a Godwink because I really needed it today more than ever. So I guess it didn't "slip through the cracks" but needed to be read a bit later. Love you dearly!
Good grief Em you are the most inspirational person on the internet now!!! I wanna hang out and sew with YOU!!!!
Hope you come to my retreat next June- we are starting it with the Farm Chicks Sale and then sewing for four days! Your BLOG ROCKS!!!
